Last night, my best friend called me because Barack Obama will be at her former undergrad on Monday (fucking Ohio). She thinks she can arrange a meeting. I naturally had to turn her down. Because I have a couple of meetings for Law Review on that day. And if you had to choose between a potential president and a long discussion on type face and the oxford comma, well the decision is clear.

This is really just one more example of what can only be considered a long standing dedication to the future. I strongly believe that it is the duty of every citizen to be politically active. We should all strive for social change. And I try to lead by example:

When Arrested Development got canceled I signed an online petition.

Once in London I walked by a protest of the Iraq war and silently agreed with them before going shopping. Although, I made sure not to speak so no one would know I was American.
